• Taking Taxi

If you want to take taxi to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, we want to inform you that the taxi drivers don’t take taximeter; you have to bargain for good price, the price for transfer to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park goes between CNY120—150, it depends on the comfort condition of the taxi. Sometimes the drivers trick you to their related hotels by lower taxi price, you have to make up your mind to say NO. For the comfortable and smooth transfer from the airport to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, we offer a very good pick-up to avoid the frustrating hassle, we also can make arrangement to exchange money to Bank of China Zhangjiajie on the way without adding cost, the price is CNY 150 per car with max 3 people with your luggage before 9 pm, it will be CNY 200 after 9 pm (includes toll fee and parking fee).

• Money Exchange

Only international hotel in Zhangjiajie area handle money exchange and credit card.

Only Bank of China in Dongmenqiao(东门桥) zhangjiajie city handle traveler’s cheque ,

Only one ATM in Bank of China Zhangjiajie.

We suggest that you go to the Bank of China to exchange money first when you arrive in Zhangjiajie if you have enough time, because it is not convenient to exchange money in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. If you arrive late in the evening you can stay in the city hotel for one night and go to the Bank of China to exchange money.

• Doing sightseeing

Normally, people spend two days in Zhangjiajie Mountains, the main scenic spots are Yellow stone stronghold, golden whip brook, yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, one entrance ticket (248RMB) is valid for two days consecutively, and you just stay in one hotel. Yellow Dragon Cave or Dragon King Cave and Baofeng Lake will take one day. Mengdonghe white water rafting and Furong old town (very well preserved) will take you one day, 3-hour drive from Zhangjiajie city, 3-hour rafting and return to zhangjiajie city, you can join local organized tour (260 RMB) including bus transfer and rafting charge. You can take an excursion tour to Fenghuang Ancient City for one day and one-day excursion tour to Tianmen Mountain and Tujia folk garden.

       Mr. Li Junsheng, inventor of Sandstone Painting, has born in Zhangjiajie City in 1963. he is Tujia People. He created new Sandstone Painting made from colorful natural sandstone and plants by years' hard research. With impressive three dimension, the Sandstone Painting merged with arts of traditional Chinese Painting, western painting, wood carving and bonsai. Due to its natural material, the Sandstone Painting was praised as "Green Painting" and "Non-Pollution Painting".

       In 1994, Mr. Li Junsheng held Personal Sandstone Painting Exhibition in China
Art Gallery in Beijing. Many of his works were awarded in national arts and crafts exhibitions
in China. Some famous artists praised his paintings as Folk Art Flower. Many visitors collected
this unique and special paintings.
